What is Training Data?
Training data is the dataset used to teach machine learning models how to recognize patterns and make predictions. In Customer AI, this often includes attitudinal survey data paired with operational signals.
In the Customer AI Masterclass (Unit 3.4: Data Types), training data is described as critical for building accurate models. Even imperfect survey data provides value when used to train predictive algorithms that later generalize across silent customers.
